A seventy-minute compilation of supernatural mysteries and psychological puzzles that includes two dramas, a comedy, a spy thriller, a science fiction short, and a horror film, all by local resident John Gray. It is doubtful that anyone in our county has more experience writing and directing narrative film and television than John Gray, the creator of the long running series Ghost Whisperer starring Jennifer Love Hewitt. USA, 2018 – 2022, 67 minutes (film running time).

EXTRA INNINGS (8:34)
A reporter interviews the manager of the Boston Red Sox in an attempt to uncover secrets from his past.

HOUSEHOLD DEMONS (9:19)
A young boy is forced to deal with the entity that possesses his mother.

EXIT PACKAGE (13:09)
A black comedy, quarantine era murder mystery – a ZOOM meeting for a corrupt investment company goes horribly wrong. Made completely through ZOOM, with all of the actors working from home.

THE THIRD DEFECTOR (16:48)
What seems like a simple assignment for a spy to keep tabs on an Iranian defector becomes a more complicated game of cat and mouse in the streets of Paris.

WELCOME TO FOREVER (9:10)
The brilliant designer of smart houses leaves a posthumous surprise for his widow.

THE LITTLE DRUMMER BOY (10:07)
All is not what it seems when a father and son have a violent confrontation on Christmas Eve.

Following the films, John Gray will discuss his filmmaking with local screenwriter (Ronin, Witchblade) and professor at the SUNY Purchase School of Film and Media Studies, J.D. Zeik.

Proof of vaccination and face masks are not currently required in The Nyack Center. We appreciate purchasing tickets in advance in order to reduce physical interactions. There will be extra space between seats if possible, and the wearing of face masks is welcome.

ABOUT JOHN GRAY

Brooklyn born John Gray is an award-winning writer-director-producer of films and television, and the creator of the long running TV series, Ghost Whisperer. He has written and directed many feature films and movies for television, including White Irish Drinkers, starring Stephen Lang and Karen Allen; Martin And Lewis, starring Sean Hayes and Jeremy Northam; the Emmy® nominated A Place For Annie, with Sissy Spacek; the Emmy® nominated mini-series Haven with Natasha Richardson and Anne Bancroft; Helter Skelter, and many others.

Gray has directed numerous episodes of broadcast and cable series, including multiple episodes of the NBC series Grimm and was also the producing director of the CBS series Reckless. Gray’s acclaimed short films have played and are currently playing in film festivals all over the world including French Kiss, which has also notched 6.3 million views to date on YouTube. He is married to writer-filmmaker Melissa Jo Peltier, and they make their home in New York and Cape Cod, MA. In 2022 he published his first novel, The Desecrated.
